The statue of Lady Justice in the judges' library of the Supreme Court of India has undergone a transformation. The statue, which has long been a symbol of justice, now holds a copy of the Indian Constitution in place of a sword, and the blindfold, traditionally worn to signify impartiality, has been removed.
