Open to meeting all elected leaders including Modi: David Cameron

New Delhi, Nov 14 (ANI): British Prime Minister David Cameron, who is on a one-day visit to India, on Thursday said that he was open to meeting all elected leaders including BJP prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi. Cameron will hold talks with Prime Minister Manmohan Singh on a number of bilateral, regional and international issues. The two leaders are likely to deliberate on boosting cooperation in trade and investment besides enhancing ties in areas of mutual interest. After holding talks with Dr Singh, Cameron will leave for Kolkata where he will meet West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee. He will also visit the Indian Institute of Management and All India Radio in Kolkata. Cameron will later fly to Colombo to attend the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting on November 15-16. Beijing, Nov 7 (ANI): Indian and Chinese soldiers began an anti-terrorism exercise "Hand-in-Hand" in Chinese province with their eyes firmly on enhancing mutual trust and boosting cooperation between two of the largest and well-equipped armed forces in the world. The Indian contingent was led by Brigadier D.S. Shishodia along with the commanding officer Colonel Gaurav Srivastava. Shishodia said on Wednesday that the troops were mixed and organised in two companies in order to learn from each other. Exercise Hand-in-Hand formally begun at Miao Ergang which comes under Chengdu Military area.
