Women tie rakhis to soldiers guarding Indo-Pak border on Raksha Bandhan

Amritsar, Aug 10 (ANI): Women on Sunday tied rakhis on wrists of soldiers guarding India’s border in Punjab to mark the auspicious occasion of Raksha Bandhan. The soldiers were elated and deeply touched. Border Security Force (BSF) Commandant Officer Wagah Border, Satish Kumar, expressed his gratitude and said the gesture by students and women was rewarding for each one of them. The girls were highly pleased and felt proud in tying rakhi on the wrists of soldiers. A school student, Vidisha, said BSF personnel are not able to unite with their families on the occasion of Raksha Bandhan and tying rakhi to them felt good as they sacrifice their lives performing their duty towards the nation. Doctors treat students for respiratory problems after gas leak in Kerala factory

Kollam, Aug 08 (ANI): A hospital is treating 80 students from two schools for respiratory problems after they complained of headache, nausea and vomiting following gas leak in a factory Kerala. Students were hospitalised after gas leak at Kerala Minerals and Metals Limited (KMML) factory in Chavara village in Kollam district of Kerala. The admitted students, from nearby Chavara Government Girls Higher Secondary School and a government college, suffered breathing problems and were vomiting after going to school.
