And examples of this ethos can be found throughout the country. One such example comes from Gorakhpur, in the northern state of Uttar Pradesh, where a Hindu family makes Tazias during Muharram. A Tazia is a replica of the tomb of Imam Hussain that is carried in processions during Muharram. UP govt employees begin indefinite strike, SP appeals for talks

Lucknow, Nov 12 (ANI): UP government employees began an indefinite strike in the state on Tuesday after talks with the government on parity with central government employees turned futile. Samajwadi Party leader Naresh Agarwal appealed the employees to have a talk with the government in order to resolve the issue. The strike is allegedly called by the Rajya Karmchari Sanyukt Parishad.
