Private Detective Agencies (Regulation) Bill should be passed to stop bugging: Vikram Singh

Gurgaon, July 28 (ANI): Private Detectives Association of India President Kunwar Vikram Singh on Monday said that bugging at Union Minister Nitin Gadkari's residence is a serious issue. He said that Private Detective Agencies (Regulation) Bill, which is pending in Rajya Sabha should be passed in order to stop such incidents. Singh also said that the regulation of the bill will stop bugging by the foreign detective agencies in India. AG says Congress not Eligible to Claim LoP Post, Congress reacts

New Delhi, July 26 (ANI): Attorney General (AG) Mukul Rohatgi sent his opinion on the Leader of Opposition post to the Lok Sabha Speaker and said the Congress party was not eligible for it. Lok Sabha Speaker Sumitra Mahajan had sought the opinion of the AG in the issue after the Congress repeatedly demanded that it be given the post. Reacting over this, Congress leader Manish Tewari on Saturday said that the Congress being the second largest political party is entitled to hold the position of Leader of opposition.
