Anti-Taliban all-parties conference calls for halt in peace talks with TTP

Lahore/ Kotri Ranges, Feb 27 (ANI): An anti-Taliban all-parties conference in Lahore called on the Pakistan government to stop all negotiations with the Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) because the banned militant group had become a menace for the entire country. The conference was called by the Sunni Ittehad Council, and was attended by several mainstream religious and political parties. Sunni Ittehad Council Chief Sahibzada Hamid Raza said instead of trying to re-start stalled peace talks with the Taliban, the Pakistan government should try the Taliban for their crimes against the Pakistani nation under Islamic laws.
