Suspected SIMI operative arrested from Bhopal

Bhopal, April 28 (ANI): Anti-terrorist Squad (ATS) arrested suspected Students Islamic Movement of India (SIMI) activist Gulrez Mustafa from Bhopal railway station. Action against Mustafa, a resident of Choti Gwaltoli locality of Indore, who was on ATS radar for long, came on the basis intelligence inputs. Gulrez is believed to have helped terror suspect Abu Faisal alias doctor to escape to Mahidpur via Indore after escaping from Khandwa jail on October 1, 2013. In December last year, ATS had nabbed Faisal and two accomplices on December 24, 2013. Carrying a reward of Rs 15,000, Gulrez was on the run and was arrested with Faisal in 2007 from a hotel in Indore. Apr 28, 2014

Ramdev vows to make nation corruption free

Sri Ganganagar, April 14 (ANI): Yoga guru Baba Ramdev, who has been spearheading a national campaign against black money, said would make the country corruption free by his proposed policies. Addressing media persons on Monday in Sri Ganga Nagar city of Rajasthan, Ramdev said that Indians need to stand united against graft that has damaged the roots of this country. Beating drums for Narendra Modi, Ramdev advocated for a corruption free India which could be achieved through legal, technological and social measures. Talking of the legal measures, Ramdev spoke of the measures that he has proposed in the consent letter that he earlier procured from senior leaders of main opposition Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) as a testimonial to their support for his anti corruption movement. The marathon touched different places of worship in south Delhi, welcoming harmony among everyone.Teenagers from various parts of the nation participated in the marathon and stopped at religious destinations like temples, mosques, churches and Sikh holy shrines en route to receive tokens with religious symbols embossed on them.Eventually when the runners reached the final checkpoint, they received a set of golden rules with underlying messages of peaceful co-existence.The event was organised by Italy based Focolare Movement at Holy Child Auxilium School in New Delhi.
