Kolkata, Sep 11 (ANI): BJP leader Siddharth Nath Singh on Thursday questioned West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee over her alleged relationship with Bangladesh's fundamentalist group Jamaat-e-Islami and Islamic fundamentalist Students' Islamic Movement of India (SIMI). Singh said that a newspaper in Bangladesh has said that the money extracted by the Saradha chit fund scam went to the Jamaat-e-Islami and that the organization helped back the TMC with the Lok Sabha polls. Singh said that if Banerjee was innocent, she should have opposed and filed a defamation case against the newspaper in question and Bangladesh government. Sep 11, 2014

Modifying the popular ice bucket challenge, Steiner took the rice bucket challenge wherein he distributed buckets of rice to poor people and said that poorness is not god gifted and is totally changeable. He talked with the residents of the slum while distributing rice to them and said that this was much needed and valuable than the ice bucket challenge. Political leaders react over Amit Shah's attack on Mamata Banerjee over Saradha scam

New Delhi, Sep 08 (ANI): Political leaders on Monday react over BJP President Amit Shah's attack on West Bengal Chief Minster Mamata Banerjee over Saradha chit fund scam. Shah took jibe during a rally in Kolkata city for the state by-polls. While others were of the view that political rivalry should not include independent intelligence agencies, BJP slammed Banerjee for mis-governance.
