New Delhi, Oct 14 (ANI): Prime Minister Narendra Modi condoled the passing away of Lok Sabha MP from Bongaon, Kapil Krishna Thakur. He has extended his condolences to the bereaved family of the TMC leader. According to reports, 73-year-old Thakur breathed his last in a city hospital in Kolkata on Monday. Thakur, who represented Bangaon Lok Sabha constituency in West Bengal's North 24 Parganas district, had been suffering from a lung infection. Party supremo and Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee paid her last respect to Thakur describing his demise as a great loss to the Matua sect of Hindus. His last rites will be performed on Wednesday.
