BJP and Congress condemn killing of RSS leader in Kerala

New Delhi, Sep 02 (ANI): Political leaders condemned the murder of RSS leader E Manoj in Kerala. The party alleged that members of Communist Party of India-Marxist (CPI-M) killed the RSS leader. RSS leader Manoj was hacked to death on Monday even as president of BJP began his two-day visit in the state to expand his party base. Both RSS and BJP alleged that the CPI (M) members were behind this assassination and called for a dawn-to-dusk state strike on Tuesday. BJP Leader Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi said the CP (M) should fight the battle in the field on politics and not through violent means. Meanwhile, Congress leader PC Chacko said clashes between CP (M) and RSS was a regular occurrence in Kerala and had already claimed many lives. Sep 2, 2014

Nagpur/Kochi, Sept 02 (ANI): A local functionary of the RSS was hacked to death and another one suffered serious injuries in an attack allegedly by CP I (M) workers, near Kathirur in Kerala. The BJP and the RSS have called for a dawn-to-dusk hartal in the district on Tuesday in protest against the murder. Meanwhile, the day-long hartal disrupted normal life across the state. All Indians in Kuwait out of danger, Indian mission totally focused on same: MEA

New Delhi, Aug 29 (ANI): As 25 Indian nationals in Kuwait have been arrested on murder charges on Friday, Ministry of External Affairs Spokesperson Syed Akbaruddin assured that all nationals are out of danger and that India's Mission has taken up the issue and will soon provide necessary assistance. Akbaruddin said that there was a brawl with nationals of some other countries and that some Indians were arrested in the same. He said that our mission has visited all hospitals to check the Indian nationals and to ensure adequate food provisions for them. The MEA also appealed the Indian to abide by the laws of Kuwait as India neds to maintain that. Akbaruddin also assured that Foreign Minister Sushma Swaraj is giving directions in the case.
