Police bust militant hideout, recover arms & ammunitions in J&K

Doda, May 30 (ANI): Police busted a militant hideout and recovered a huge cache of explosives, arms and ammunition from a forest area in Jammu and Kashmir, said a senior officer. Superintendent of Police, Mohammad Sharif Chouhan, said it was one of the biggest recoveries in the recent past in Doda district of the state. Acting on a tip-off, police launched combing in the forest area and busted the militant hideout in a natural cave. The restive region has witnessed numerous militant attacks, insurgency, and infiltration attempts from across the border in the last two decades. May 30, 2014
