New Delhi, June 05 (ANI): Film maker Nisha Pahuja's latest offering 'The World Before Her' was screened in the national capital recently. The World Before Her' as the name suggests, is all about the way we are exposed to the realities of life. The movie depicts the story of two worlds contradictory to each other, one a Hindu nationalist camp for girls, and the other, a beauty contest. Nowhere in the movie, does the director show a bias to any particular group. Nisha Pahuja, has done her best to present the story in a non-judgmental way. Let's ask her how tough it was to maintain this unbiased perspective in the movie. When subjects like a Beauty contest or a Durga Vahini camp play an internal role in the story plot, which one will you relate to more? Let's see the first reactions that we have got from the audiences? Well....it's all on you which world you want to chose? Jun 5, 2014

Hindu temple and mosque co-exist peacefully in Kupwara, endorse communal harmony

Kashmir, June 2 (ANI): Kashmir has often been described as a paradise on earth. Not just for its natural beauty, but also for its unique culture. The way of life in Kashmir has evolved through centuries and is a synthesis of a variety of cultures and religious influences, which have given birth to an ethos, known as Kashmiriyat. One such example comes from Trehgam village near Kupwara district of north Kashmir where a 400-year-old temple dedicated to Lord Shiva, a shrine of great Sufi saint Syed Ibrahim Bukhari and Grand mosque (Jamia Masjid) are situated in a row and a famous pond in front of them is the main source of water for almost half a dozen nearby villages. Pune, May 31 (ANI): Hindu radical outfit and ideological mentor of the BJP, the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh has said that Article 370, which provides special autonomous status to Jammu and Kashmir, is temporary which means it should go one day. A row had erupted after Junior minister in Prime Minister's Office (PMO), Jitendra Singh of the BJP stirred a controversy on May 27, after assuming charge, by saying that Article 370 was more of a psychological barrier than a physical one and added that the Narendra Modi-led government was open to debate with all stakeholders, including youths and that Article 370 of the Constitution was a hindrance to Kashmir's development. RSS leader Krishna Gopal who addressed a news conference in Pune said that the article holds a temporary status in the Indian Constitution. Gopal claimed the people of the country who had given a clear mandate to BJP were also on the same page with the party. May 31, 2014
