Earlier there was gunfire on the streets of Bangladesh as opposition parties extended their nationwide strike for two more days, seeking postponement of polls even as violence raged on. In the capital city of Dhaka, supporters of ruling Bangladesh Awami League shouted slogans against the nationwide blockade of opposition parties led by Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP). Chhattisgarh, Nov 28 (ANI): At least four paramilitary officials of the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) were killed in an ambush by Maoists in Bijapur district of Chhattisgarh. A road opening party (ROP) of the CRPF was on its way to a village for a civic action programme, when an improvised explosive device (IED) attack took place. The explosion was followed by indiscriminate firing by the Maoists and later a gun battle between both sides.
