India, EU to enhance bilateral talks to resolve competition issues

New Delhi, Nov 22 (ANI): European Commission Vice President, Joaquin Almunia, who is in India to participate in the '3rd BRICS International Competition Conference (ICC)', during a meeting on Friday in the capital said that EU looks forward to engage in bilateral talks with Indian authorities and enhance cooperation in resolving competition issues. India and the European Union signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on Thursday to increase cooperation between the European Commission's competition department and the Competition Commission of India.
