'Clingy' lovers likelier to cheat

New Delhi, Nov 10 (ANI): People who are insecure in their relationships are more likely to be unfaithful or have a cheating partner, according to a new study. Research out of Florida State University states that married couples have a higher rate of infidelity, when one of the partners is needy and worries he or she will be abandoned. Researchers added that those who are needy and insecure in their relationship are most likely to be unfaithful. The team checked in with 207 newlywed couples six times over four years. The pairs were asked about how secure or insecure they felt in their relationships and about their marital satisfaction. Nov 10, 2013
