Kozhikode, June 4 (ANI): Police rescued over 500 children in a suspected child trafficking case in Kerala.The children were brought by train from Jharkhand, Bihar and West Bengal, said police. The matter came to light when a five member team of senior officers from Jharkhand confirmed that the orphanages did not have proper documents of each child and the statement provided by the care takers was not satisfactory. Srinagar, May 25 (ANI): General Officer Commanding in Chief of Indian Army's Northern Command Lieutenant General Sanjiv Chachra said on Sunday that there have been no infiltration attempts by militants from Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK) in India's Kashmir valley so far this year. Chachra concluded his two-day trip to Kashmir on Sunday and visited Chinar Corps War Memorial to pay his tribute to the fallen heroes who laid down their lives in the service of the nation. Police arrest 10 Bangladesh nationals near Indo-Bangla border

South Dinajpur, May 25 (ANI): Police in West Bengal arrested 10 Bangladesh nationals near the Indo-Bangla border. The Bangladesh nationals who were travelling in a private bus were taken in custody by the South-Dinajpur police, under Kushmandi police station near the border in West Bengal. Acting on a tip off, the sub divisional police officers tracked the bus which was on its way to Balurghat and found 10 Bangladeshis travelling without proper documents. The arrested nationals belong to Mirjapur and Bogra district of Bangladesh. Meanwhile, within three months south Dinajpur police and paramilitary Border Security Force (BSF) jointly arrested 112 Bangladeshi infiltrators along the Indo-Bangladesh border. May 25, 2014
