Unprovoked firing by Pak at border leaves Kashmir residents perturbed

Poonch, Akhnoor, Oct 26 (ANI): After a fresh incident of ceasefire violation by Pakistan, people in Jammu and Kashmir said that they are perturbed by the constant firing across the international border and want things to return to normal. Pakistani troops resorted to heavy firing in Balakot sector of Mendhar area in Jammu and Kashmir's Poonch district. The Indian troops guarding the border retaliated effectively. A social worker in Poonch district, Mohammad Zaban, said only a dialogue process can bring peaceful end to this issue. Meanwhile, chairperson of an organisation called Anjuman Jafaria, Iftaqar Ahmed Bazmi, hoped that unprovoked firing by Pakistan stops soon and peace prevails. Oct 26, 2014
