Lucknow, Nov 09 (ANI): As a case against BSP Chief Mayawati for cornering three Type VIII Lutyens' Delhi bungalows to create one "superbungalow" is doing rounds, she said that the bungalow is a memorial of founder of BSP, Kashi Ram and is no way illegal. Mayawati further said that some newspapapers and media intentionally rake up allegations against her as elections approaches. CPI on A Raja and Sajjan Kumar seeking stay on trials citing Gauhati HC order on CBI

New Delhi, Nov 09 (ANI): Citing Gauhati HC order on CBI, former Telecom Minister A Raja has pushed for a stay on the proceedings of the 2G scam case in a Delhi court. Congress leader Sajjan Kumar too wants the court to declare as "illegal" the probe and charge sheets filed by the CBI in a 1984 anti Sikh riots case. Reacting over this, CPI leader D Raja said that if CBI was not there another investigative agency would have done the probe so there was no question of dismissing the cases against them. Mumbai, Oct 30 (ANI): Convicted Bollywood actor Sanjay Dutt returned to Yerawada Central Jail in Pune on Wednesday after his four-week-long medical parole ended. Sanjay Dutt, was released from jail on furlough for 14 days on October 1. Later, he sought an extension which was granted to him for another fortnight. Accordingly, this year, Dutt will spend the Diwali festival in the jail with other inmates.
