United Airplanes' aircraft grounded at Mumbai airport sighting "major damage"

Mumbai, Feb 22 (ANI): A Boeing 777 aircraft of American carrier United Airlines (UA) was grounded at Mumbai airport Friday night after engineers found that its right engine cover was badly damaged, officials said. The aircraft, operating flight UA-48 from Newark to Mumbai, was grounded, terming the damage as "major", the sources said, adding it was being suspected that the damage may have been caused during take-off. Bahrain king seeks to boost ties with India during his first visit

New Delhi, Feb 19 (ANI): The King of Bahrain, Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, arrived in New Delhi for three-day official visit to India. The King will seek to bolster long-standing ties with India and open up new horizons of cooperation in various sectors. He was received at the Delhi airport by India's Minister of State for External Affairs E Ahamed. During his first visit to the country, the King of Bahrain will meet Indian President Pranab Mukherjee, Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and a number of other senior officials. A number of agreements and memoranda of understanding will be signed during the visit and the two nations would also hold talks on regional and global development and issues of mutual concern.
