British royals visit mobile crche for underprivileged children in Mumbai

Mumbai, Nov 9 (ANI): The British royal couple, Prince of Wales and the Duchess of Cornwall, visited a mobile crèche in Mumbai on Saturday where they met underprivileged children, their parents and staff members of the crèche. The children, whose parents make their ends meet by working as daily-wage labourers, were elated to see Prince Charles and his wife Camilla and had also prepared a puppet show to entertain the royal couple. The royals visited the classrooms and interacted with the teachers and parents as well. The royal couple, who is on nine-day-long India visit, would also pay their respects to the victims of the 26/11 attack at Mumbai's Taj Mahal hotel. Nov 9, 2013

Dehradun, Nov 7 (ANI): British royals, the Prince of Wales and the Duchess of Cornwall, met cadets at the Indian Military Academy (IMA) on Thursday in Dehradun as part of their nine-day India trip. The royal couple were received by a top Indian Army official at the IMA building also known as Chetwode Building. The official gave the British royals a tour of the historic academy based in the foothills of the Himalayas. Prince Charles and Camilla will spend eight days in India before travelling to Sri Lanka to attend the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting in Colombo. This is their third official visit to India. The trip is aimed at strengthening bilateral ties between London and New Delhi.
