At the National Stock Exchange the Nifty closed 6.70 points up to stand at 8,121.45. CRISIL and Bajaj Finance Limited were among the top gainers of Group A with an increase of 7.11% and 5.66% along with CONCOR and MUTHOOT FINANCE LTD. with an increase of 5.08% and 4.48% respectively, while the top losers of Group A include SUZLON and JINDAL STEEL and POWER LTD. with a decrease of 9.33% and 4.66% along with SHRIRAM CITY UNION FINANCE LTD. and JAIPRAKASH ASSOCIATES LTD. with a decrease of 4.50% and 4.40% at the close of the markets. The Auto sector is down 106.56 points at 18,114.93 while the banking sector is down 9.56 points at 18,479.21and the reality sector is down 19.56 points at 1,769.05. UNITECH and HDIL were among the top gainers of Group A with an increase of 13.94% and 9.36% along with INDHOTEL and ADANIPOWER with an increase of 9.13% and 7.22% respectively, while the top losers of Group A include BRITANNIA and BHUSHAN STEEL LTD. with a decrease of 2.35% and 1.88% along with GMDCLTD and INFOSYS LTD. with a decrease of 1.36% and 1.35% at the close of the markets. The Auto sector is up 474.62 points at 18,221.49 while the banking sector is up 358.20 points at 18,488.77 and the reality sector is up 79.40 points at 1,788.61. New Delhi, Sep 16 (ANI): The Minister for Mines, Steel, Labour and Employment, Narendra Singh Tomar on Tuesday handed over cheques worth Rs 15 crore to PM Narendra Modi for the Prime Minister's National Relief Fund. The amount has been donated by Public Sector Undertakings from the Steel and Mining sectors.
