As police continue to investigate the sudden and unexplained death of 25-year-old Peaches Geldof - celebs such as Simon Cowell, Lorde, Lily Allen and Kelly Osbourne took to their twitter accounts to express their sadness. The British TV personality and daughter of musician Bob Geldof leaves behind a husband and two sons. The day before she died, Peaches uploaded as many as seven family photos to Twitter and Instagram – including one of her and her mom Paula Yates – who died of a heroin overdose in 2000. Peaches made her last public appearance just days ago at a fashion event in London. And back in 2011, she had this to say about a collection of short stories she was writing. Tributes to Mickey Rooney have been pouring in since news broke that the legendary actor passed away at 93. Celebs of all ages from William Shatner to Lena Dunham and Ariana Grande paid their respects on twitter. Rooney is considered one of the first child stars and was bestowed with two Oscars during his 80-year career. And his personal life rivaled that of his “National Velvet” co-star Elizabeth Taylor – having married a total of eight times. Mickey was never one to shy away from the spotlight – in fact his last pubic appearance was at this year’s Vanity Fair Oscar party just one month ago. LOS ANGELES Will Arnett took up hosting duties at the 3rd annual Reel Stories, Real Lives event benefiting the Motion Picture and Television Fund. Other stars lending their support included Anne Hathaway, Joseph Gordon Levitt, Casey Affleck and Taylor Schilling. LAS VEGAS Sin City was the site of the 49th annual Academy of Country Music Awards. Gurgaon, Feb 7 (ANI): Music was indeed the binding force as mesmerised audience clapped and cheered to every rhythmic beat at the music awards function hosted by Afghanistan on Tuesday, in Gurgaon, the millennium city of India. The extravagant show was organised by Afghanistan's largest television network, Ariana Television Network (ATN) at Kingdom of Dreams in Gurgaon of northern Haryana province. Renowned Afghani singers along with dance troupes were seen entertaining the audience with their performances. Veteran Indian actor Sharat Saxena and Bollywood diva of yesteryears, Sharmila Tagore, were also present at the event.
