Islamabad, Jan 10 (ANI): After a low'key marriage ceremony, Pakistan’s cricketer'turned'politician Imran Khan and his better half ex'BBC journalist Reham Khan shared lunch with madrasa students on the outskirts of Pakistani capital Islamabad. Khan on Friday drove to distribute and share food with the children of the madarsa of Mufti Saeed, the Muslim cleric who performed his wedding ceremony. Khan’s party officials say that due to the recent Peshawar tragedy, Imran had decided against having a grand Valima ceremony and chose to distribute food to less privileged children. Condemning reactions flow after Hafiz Saeed referred as 'Saheb' in a UN letter

New Delhi, Dec 21 (ANI): India went fuming on Sunday after United Nations referred to 26/11 Mumbai attack master-mind Hafiz Saeed as 'Saheb' in a letter by UN Security Council. Congress leaders Manish Tewari and Rashid Alvi condemned this saying that UN should recognize terrorists who attack one country can be international terrorists. CPI leader D Raja said that UN Security Council will have to explain their act. CPI (M) leader Sitaram Yechury said that Indian representatives in the UN should have raised objection to it. New Delhi, Dec 18 (ANI): Political leaders in India condemned Lashkar-e-Taiba chief and 26/11 mastermind Hafiz Mohammad Saeed for blaming India for the carnage carried out by the Pakistani Taliban in an army-run school in Peshawar. A video has emerged that purportedly shows Saeed blaming India and saying that it was a conspiracy by Prime Minister Narendra Modi's government against Pakistan. The video also showed Saeed threatening India with "revenge" for the Peshawar massacre. Politicians said that Pakistan should seize the opportunity in the wake of terror attack on Peshawar school and take bold steps to combat terrorism. It should also hand over Saeed to India. New Delhi, Dec 06 (ANI): India termed Mumbai attacks mastermind and Islamist Hafiz Saeed's rally in Pakistan's Lahore as mainstreaming of militancy.' Foreign Ministry Spokesperson, Syed Akbaruddin while addressing mediapersons in New Delhi said that large amount of police personnel were deployed at the event. Akbaruddin said "even train services were given" in a reference to reports that Pakistan Railways operated trains from Hyderabad in the Sindh province and from Karachi for the meet. Thousands attended the two-day congregation organised by Saeed's Jaamat-ud-Dawa at the historical Minar-e-Pakistan in Lahore. Saeed is the founder of Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT), a militant group banned in Pakistan but tolerated unofficially and believed to be close to the army.
