New Delhi, Feb 21 (ANI): Reacting over former journalist Santanu Saikia's allegations in Corporate Espionage Case, Union Minister for Petroleum and Natural Gas Dharmendra Pradhan on Saturday ruled out any suggestion that the authorities were covering up matters, and said Saikia was only trying to save his own skin. Saikia, who was arrested by the Delhi Police yesterday in connection with the alleged leak of confidential documents from the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas (MoPNG) to private oil companies, today created a sensation by claiming that it was a Rs 10,000 crore scam and that he was just covering it. Dharmendra Pradhan says investigation on over leakage of Classified info from Petroleum Ministry, as

New Delhi, Feb 19 (ANI): Minister of State for Petroleum and Natural Gas Ministry, Dharmendra Pradhan on Thursday said that investigation is on over the leakage of classified information from Petroleum Ministry. He said that the government will take strong action once the investigation is over. Two Petroleum Ministry employees are among five persons arrested for allegedly leaking confidential government documents to private companies, Delhi Police said. According to sources, said a clerical staff and a peon of the Petroleum Ministry were apprehended by the police. Pradhan, however, said that the new government has started keeping an eye over all the activities in the ministry and said that cameras are installed among other things to keep a check. Feb 19, 2015
