BSP pulls up UP Govt. over Farrukhabad SHO's death

New Delhi, Nov 30 (ANI): Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) leader Sudhindra Bhadoria on Sunday lashed out at Akhilesh Yadav- led Samajwadi Party (SP) Government in Uttar Pradesh for supporting nefarious elements in the state. Condemning yesterday's incident when an on duty Station House Officer (SHO) was shot dead in Farrukhabad, Bhadoria said that whenever the Samajwadi Party (SP) is in power the police is supposed to cooperate with the goons. SHO Rajkumar Singh was shot dead while trying to apprehend a history-sheeter in Farrukhabad last night. According to reports, he was rushed to Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital in Farrukhabad, where the doctors pronounced him dead on arrival. Nov 30, 2014

Chandigarh, Nov 28 (ANI): Self-styled 'godman' Sant Rampal was produced before the Punjab and Haryana High Court on Friday. His bail plea had been cancelled earlier on November 20 in a 2006 murder case. The divisional bench today directed the additional chief secretary, Home, Haryana, to file a report regarding the properties owned by Rampal. The self-styled ' godman ', who was arrested from his Satlok Ashram after a two-week long standoff in Hisar's Barwala town, has rubbished all the charges leveled against him. Nov 28, 2014

Politicos react after CBI report states girls committed suicide in Badaun gang-rape case

New Delhi/Lucknow/Hyderabad, Nov 27 (ANI): Politicos reacted on Thursday after CBI in its report stated that it has found no evidence of murder or sexual assault in its probe into the death of two teenage cousins whose bodies were found hanging from a tree in Badaun district of Uttar Pradesh and claimed that the two girls had committed suicide. BJP's UP unit President Laxmikant Bajpai said that the government should look into the reports. Congress leader Manish Tewari said that the court will look into the CBI report and give its verdict.
