New Delhi, Jan 27 (ANI): US President Barack Obama on Tuesday departed from Palam airport in New Delhi concluding his three day India visit. Obama will now be going to Riyadh in Saudi Arabia, to pay respects to the late King Abdullah before returning to Washington. He took to twitter to express his feelings about the visit- "Thank you Narendra Modi for a memorable visit, and to the Indian people for their warm welcome", he tweeted. Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama joined hands in 'namaste' to the people of India before getting in the Air Force One aircraft of the United States. Ten killed, at least 21 injured in Greek fighter plane crash in Spain

Spain, Jan 27 (ANI): Eight French nationals and two Greeks were killed and at least 21 people injured when a Greek fighter plane crashed during NATO training in Spain, Spanish Prime Minister Mariano Rajoy said. The F-16 crashed at about 3:20 PM shortly after taking off at a training centre in Albacete, 260 km (160 miles) southeast of the capital Madrid. The Greek fighter jet was carrying out a NATO training exercise at the Spanish base but something went wrong during the take-off. "The plane lost power, crashing into the parking area for planes, crashing into various planes that were parked there," the defence ministry said in a statement. Two pilots on board were among the dead and other pilots and mechanics were underneath the plane in the parking area, according to Spanish media reports. New Delhi under tight security cover on 66th Republic Day

New Delhi, Jan 26 (ANI): The national capital turned into a fortress as US President is all set to witness the 66th Republic Day parade on Monday. There is unprecedented security in New Delhi. A seven-layer security ring with 50,000 security personnel, including 500 US Secret Service Agents, are part of President Obama's security detail. Police personnel are keeping a tight vigil throughout the national capital and also around the area where the parade is to take place since last night. Meanwhile, Prime Minister Narendra Modi also took to twitter to congratulate and give greetings to the nation on 66th Republic Day. The highlight of this year's parade will be the indigenously developed surface-to-air Akash medium range missiles and weapon locating radar. The long-range advanced MiG-29K fighter will be seen for the first time.
