Army Chief urges new cadets to gear up for national challenges

Pune, Nov 29 (ANI): Army chief General Dalbir Singh Suhag, on Saturday (November 29), urged new cadets to gear up for the national crisis and challenges, while addressing passing out parade in Pune. The cadets rejoiced as they successfully passed out from premier training institute National Defence Academy (NDA). Among those present were the parents and guardians of cadets as well as top brass of defence and other dignitaries stationed at various units based in and around Pune. The NDA trains cadets of all the three defence services- Army, Navy and Air Force- prior to their pre-commissioning training at their respective academies. Located in Khadakwasla near Pune, it holds the distinction of being the first tri-service academy in the world. Nov 29, 2014
