Malaysia, Jan 29 (ANI): Malaysia declared on Thursday (January 29) that all passengers on board the missing Malaysia Airlines MH370 had lost their lives in an accident, opening the way for the compensation process to begin. International investigators are looking into why the Boeing jet veered thousands of miles off course from its scheduled route before eventually plunging into the Indian Ocean. The Beijing-bound Boeing 777 aircraft disappeared on March 8 last year with its 239 passengers and crew shortly after taking off from the Malaysian capital of Kuala Lumpur. Months of searches have failed to turn up any trace. "Punjab Kesari Lala Lajpat Rai was a unique personality who was ahead of his time. I salute this proud son of India on his birth anniversary," he posted. Fighter aircraft crashes in Rajasthan

Barmer, Jan 28 (ANI): A MiG-27 fighter aircraft of the Indian Air Force crashed in Barmer district of Rajasthan. The crash happened about eight kilometers from Barmer city, injuring a motorcyclist. According to media reports, the pilot was ejected safely from the aircraft. The injured civilian has been admitted to the district hospital. In 2012, more than half the MiG fleet of 872 aircraft were lost to crashes that killed 171 pilots. Jan 28, 2015
