Hyderabad, Feb 08 (ANI): The cabinet passed the Telangana Bill which will bifurcate Andhra Pradesh for the creation of a separate Telangana state, during a special meeting of the cabinet. The Bill will be introduced in Parliament on February 11 or 12. The key demands of Seemandhra leaders that Hyderabad be made a Union Territory and Rayala Telangana be created were rejected, putting a question mark on the fate of the Bill in Parliament. Citing central intelligence agency's report, BJP spokesperson Prakash Javadekar said that there was no information that Pakistan's ISI tried to recruit riot affected Muslim men. New Delhi, Feb 5 (ANI): Leader of Opposition in the Lok Sabha and senior BJP leader Sushma Swaraj on Wednesday demanded justice for Arunachal Pradesh student Nido Taniam, who lost his life after allegedly being beaten up in Delhi last month. Taniam, a student from Arunachal Pradesh, had reportedly gone to Lajpat Nagar on January 29 in search of an address, and was allegedly mocked by someone at a shop for his hairstyle. Supporters from both sides of the divide were holding the protests outside the Andhra Bhawan when the scuffle began. The Centre is determined to introduce the bill in Parliament. After the cabinet's clearance, the bill will be sent to the President and then brought to Parliament for a debate and vote. Political parties demand raise in expense limit for parliament polls

New Delhi, Feb 5 (ANI): Most of India's political parties urged the Election Commission to raise the expenditure limit for the upcoming parliament polls in a meeting with the panel, said senior BJP leader Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi. The BJP argued that steep inflation had made the current slab of rupees 1.6 million to four million infeasible. However, Delhi's ruling Aam Aadmi Party said it was happy with the current limits.
