Politicos rest hope on preparedness as cyclone Hudhud hits southern coast

New Delhi, Oct 12 (ANI): Politicos on Sunday rested hope on the preparedness after severe cyclone Hudhud hit the coast of Andhra Pradesh and Odisha. BJP leader Subramanian Swamy said that there should be a proper structure made to protect people from natural disaster. Health minister Dr Harsh Vardhan said that the central government is capable of handling any situation. Leaders from other political parties said that the centre and state government should be in constant contact and take steps to prevent any kind of damage from the cyclone. Oct 12, 2014

Sunanda Pushkar's Cousin alleges her death not natural but planned, demands CBI probe

Jammu, Oct 10 (ANI): A day after AIIMS medical team probing the death of Shashi Tharoor's wife Sunanda Pushkar, concluded that she died of poisoning, her cousin Ashok Kumar alleged that the death was planned. He said that the family knew from the very beginning that the death was not natural but a planned murder. Kumar also questioned on various issues like no CCTV at the posh hotel where Pushkar died, injury marks on her body, among others. He also demanded a CBI probe in the case and said that Pushkar should be imparted justice. Earlier, the team comprising of three doctors from AIIMS and headed by Dr Sudhir Gupta had alleged that the team was pressured into giving a 'tailor-made' report in the case. Oct 10, 2014
