1st Cabinet Meet of new govt decides to form SIT on Black Money

New Delhi, May 27 (ANI): The new government in its first Cabinet Meeting headed by Prime Minister Narendra Modi decided to form an SIT to hold investigation over black money. Telecom and Law Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad on Tuesday briefed about the first decision which was raised often by the BJP during its campaign. Prasad said that the SIT will be headed by former judge of Supreme Court Justice MB Shah as the Chairman. He added that the very first decision is an indication of commitment by the new government fulfilling its promises. May 27, 2014

Ravi Shankar Prasad takes charge as new Law Minister

New Delhi, May 27 (ANI): Ravi Shankar Prasad on Tuesday took charge as new Law and justice minister. Like his predecessor Kapil Sibal, Prasad will also hold both communications and law and justice portfolios. Prasad took oath as part of Narendra Modi's cabinet on Monday along with 44 other ministers. Modi's swearing-in ceremony was attended by all SAARC nations among others. NDA leaders take oath to form Modi's Cabinet
