New Delhi, Feb 09 (ANI): BJP's chief ministerial candidate Kiran Bedi on Monday said that she has put all her efforts to work for Delhi in 17 days. She said that she covered about 1500 kilometres for roadshows and worked with all her energy during the period of time she was given. Bedi further said that there is no nervousness in her about the results due tomorrow. She also said that she will go to her constituency to see the results. Bedi also said that the party workers have worked selflessly and that she is organizing a tea party for all of them in order to thank them. Mumbai, Feb 8 (ANI): Hundreds of children took part in a fund-raising marathon in Mumbai on Sunday spread awareness about cardiac diseases. ‘Little Hearts Marathon’ is an initiative of ‘Bai Jerabai Wadia Hospital for Children’ in Mumbai to raise funds for poor children unable to meet the exorbitant hospital expenses. The second edition of the three-kilometer marathon drew several known personalities, including the head of youth wing of regional political party, Yuva Sena, Aditya Thackeray, Bollywood actor Shreyas Talpade and businessman Ness Wadia. Asian Development Bank president calls on PM Narendra Modi

New Delhi, Feb 06 (ANI): Asian Development Bank (ADB) President Takehiko Nakao met Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi in New Delhi. Nakao was accompanied with a delegation from the ADB as they discussed matters of mutual interest to India and the ADB, with Modi. After the meet, Modi tweeted a picture of the two leaders shaking hands, reading the caption: "A very productive meeting with Mr. Takehiko Nakao, President of the Asian Development Bank. @ADB_HQ". New Delhi, Feb 05 (ANI): Trinamool Congress (TMC) leader Srinjoy Bose, who has been granted conditional bail in the Saradha chit-fund scam, on Thursday resigned from his party and also gave up the Rajya Sabha membership. He tweeted saying, "With immediate effect, I have resigned from my membership of the Rajya Sabha. I have also decided to resign from the primary membership of the Trinamool Congress (TMC)." "During my days in custody, I finally realized that politics isn't my cup of tea. I am thankful to Didi (Mamata Banerjee) that she had thought me capable enough to make me an MP," he added. The TMC MP was arrested by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) for his alleged links in the Saradha scam in November last year. Anil Goswami, earlier on Wednesday, was sacked for allegedly interfering with the Central Bureau of Investigation over the arrest by the agency of Saradha Scam accused Matang Sinh. According to reports, Goswami had earlier in the day been summoned by the Prime Minister's Office over the issue and was invited to put forth his version.
