New Delhi, Feb 21 (ANI): Reacting on the process of bifurcation of the state of Andhra Pradesh, YSR Congress Chief Jagan Mohan Reddy said that the whole process was against democracy and the democracy was killed in the broad day light in the Parliament. He said that the Lok Sabha proceedings which was cut out off air and was passed arbitrarily was against the principles of the Constitution and such an incident had never happened in the nation. Lawmakers passed a bill to create India's 29th state on Thursday, despite mayhem in the parliament, as opponents made a futile last attempt to stop the Rajya Sabha from carving out landlocked Telangana from the coastal Andhra Pradesh. Security was beefed up in Vijayawada district and the shops remained closed in protest against the passing of Telangana Bill. The residents slammed the central government over their decision on Telangana and said that it was one-sided decision.
