New Delhi, July 05 (ANI): Another flight carrying stranded Indian nationals from Iraq has landed at New Delhi airport on Saturday evening. The Additional Resident Commissioner of Kerala, Rachana Shah said that she is thankful to all those who cooperated in this operation. Meanwhile the returned Indians expressed their happiness on returning back and also highlighted the severe situation in Iraq. He said that he and the entire state is very relieved on the progress. He said that it was because of the joint effort that the 100 per cent result in the case and that he was in total contact with the nurses from past few weeks. Aircraft carrying Indian nurses from Iraq reach Mumbai, families wait at Kochi airport for reunion

Kochi, July 05 (ANI): The special Air India plane carrying 46 Indian nurses and 137 others from strife-torn Iraq lands in Mumbai at 8:43 am, an airport official said on Saturday. The anxiety of the parents and relatives increased as the aircraft carrying the nurses got delayed by over five hours. The family members of 46 Indian nurses are eagerly waiting at the airport in Kochi city as they are expected to arrive by Air India Flight by 11:45 am Saturday. Non Resident Keralites Association (NORKA) Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Sudeep said that his organisation have made arrangement for providing transportation from the airport to the place of residence. New Delhi, July 4 (ANI): A group of Indian workers stranded in Iraq made a safe return to New Delhi on Friday with the help of the country_s embassy. The nationals flew back to India in the early hours of the day with the support of the embassy officials after they claimed that the companies they worked with refused to send them back. The workers heaved a sigh of relief and embraced their families waiting for them at the international airport in the national capital. They also said their friends and colleagues were still stuck in the turmoil-hit Iraq and the situation in Bagdhad was getting worse with each passing day.
