Sachin Tendulkar unveils logo of 'Legends of Rupganj' in Bangaldesh

Dhaka, Oct 15 (ANI): India's cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar unveiled the logo of Dhaka Premier League cricket club 'Legends of Rupganj' in Bangaldesh. The batting maestro, who arrived on a one-day visit to the country, unveilied the logo at a hotel in Dhaka. After unveiling the logo, Tendulkar thanked the people of Bangladesh for the love and respect. The last time Tendulkar was in Dhaka, he scored his 100th international century during the Asia Cup in 2012. Upon arriving in Dhaka on Tuesday morning, he was taken by a helicopter to Rupganj, a sub-district of Narayanganj. Security Expert raises concern over Pak's letter to UN over Kashmir and emergence of ISIS in India

New Delhi, Oct 13 (ANI): Security Expert Alok Bansal on Monday expressed concern over Pakistan Prime Minister's National Security Advisor Sartaj Aziz's letter to UN asking to intervene in Kashmir issue and also on ISIS raising its head in India. Bansal said that Pakistan has always tried to internationalize the issues related to Kashmir. He said that the country wants to take advantage of the opportunity to internationalize Kashmir issue though none of the nations paid any heed to the same. Further, talking about ISIS flag unfurled at an anti- Pakistan protest in Kashmir, Bansal said that it is unfortunate that there is an attraction towards Islamic state in Indian youth as they still see the glorious past of Islam now. Kathmandu, Oct 10 (ANI): UNICEF South Asia Ambassador Aamir Khan said its time to change, give equal rights to girl child and join hands to fight malnutrition. Khan said in Kathmandu that child stunting remains one of the greatest development challenges in South Asia, adding that stunted children have stunted bodies, stunted brains and stunted lives. Khan, who is on a three-day visit to Nepal, was named UNICEF's national ambassador for India in 2011. The UN agency officially announced Khan as new UNICEF ambassador after he visited Kapilvastu and Lumbini in west Nepal on Wednesday to observe a locally initiated nutrition programme by women health volunteers, saving thousands of children from malnutrition, a common phenomenon in South Asia.
