Kathmandu, Aug 03 (ANI): Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday arrived in Nepal's capital Kathmandu for a two-day official visit. Modi was received by Nepalese Prime Minister Sushil Koirala, senior ministers and the Indian Ambassador Ranjit Rae at the airport. The government of Nepal presented a guard of honour for Modi, leading a 112 member delegation which includes key ministers, senior government officials, business leaders as well as journalists. Ahmedabad, July 30 (ANI): Heavy rains in Ahmedabad brought life to a standstill on Wednesday but cheered people up. The incessant rains that started a night ago clogged city roads, creating huge potholes in them. The rainwater also flooded roads outside Ahmedabad's airport and caused inconvenience to people. People blamed carelessness of local Municipal Corporation for the water-filled roads, uprooting of trees and power shortages. However, rainfall has come as a relief to people trying to cope up with the unbearable summers in India. India working to evacuate nationals from Libya as violence erupts: MEA

New Delhi, July 29 (ANI): As Libya caught up in a major violence after a second fuel tank caught fire amid heavy fighting at Tripoli airport between rival militias, India's MEA Spokesperson Syed Akbaruddin said that the country is working to evacuate Indian nationals from the country. He said that the 62 coordinators coordinating with Indian nationals have been set up already. The ministry is also providing them with air tickets to return to India, using funds from India. Akbaruddin also assured that Indians are safe till now.
