Raviteja Power movie Satellite rights sold for Rs.7.5 crores

The satellite rights of the upcoming Ravi Teja starrer Power have been bought by Gemini TV for a whopping Rs 7.5 crore. This marks the highest ever satellite deal for any Ravi Teja starrer. It is a usual practice for raviteja's films getting good TRP ratings and which forced the channel investing the whopping amount on this movie. The movie is in its final schedule and the makers are planning to release it in the last week of August. The movie is produced by Kannada producer Rockline Venkatesh and K. S. Ravindra is directing the film. Hansika plays the lead role in the film which is an action and comedy entertainer. Brahmanandam, Kota Srinivasa Rao, Brahmaji, Posani Krishna Murali, Mukesh Rishi, Regina Cassandra play important characters in Power. S. New Delhi, July 28 (ANI): India ended Day 4 of the 2014 Commonwealth Games at No. 5 in the standings. Shooters continued to lead India_s medal charge with Shreyasi Singh winning silver in the women_s double trap event. While Mohammed Asab clinched bronze medal in the men_s double trap event. Punam Yadav of India also won bronze in 63kg women_s weightlifting. Weightlifting brought India some more joy as Satish Sivalingam and Ravi Katulu won gold and silver in the 77kg category. On the 4th day, the 2010 hosts touched medal count of 22 - six gold, nine silver and seven bronze - and the country still remained in the fifth place behind Australia, England, Scotland and Canada. Health ministry signs MoU to increase AIDS awareness

New Delhi, July 24 (ANI): Health minister, Harsh Vardhan, signed a Memorandum of Understanding with minister for information and communication, Ravi Shankar Prasad, to enable advanced online services to impart education on HIV/AIDS in the country. Prasad said major steps were taken in this regard to infuse strong education and counseling services through information and technology. He said that as India is sitting at a cusp of big 'IT revolution', this step would help improve health conditions in the country through provision of online education and counseling to patients. Prasad also said the department will work to make broadband-enabled villages in India. Meanwhile, Vardhan said imparting education was the best way to control the deadly disease. Jul 24, 2014
