Mumbai, Jan 29 (ANI): Lead actor of bollywood's much awaited thriller ‘Rahasya' Tisca Chopra while promoting the film in Mumbai has said it's a very gripping film. The film which is said to be based on India's biggest murder mystery Aarushi Talwar's murder case is directed by Manish Gupta. SIT questions Amar Singh in Sunanda Pushkar case, to call Shiv Menon for further interrogation

New Delhi, Jan 29 (ANI): Delhi Police Commissioner BS Bassi said on Thursday that the SIT will question Sunanda Pushkar's son, Shiv Menon in connection with her murder case. Menon is Sunanda Pushkar's son from her second marriage. A Special Investigation Team (SIT) has been formed for probing Pushkar's death. Meanwhile, Politician Amar Singh, who claimed to be a close friend of Pushkar was also questioned by the SIT on Wednesday. Police arrest Maoist in Jharkhand

Ranchi, Jan 29 (ANI): Acting on a tip-off, police arrested a Maoist commander in Jharkhand’s capital city Ranchi. The Maoist was involved in at least 15 cases including murder and extortion. He had launched a separate outfit named Jharkhand Gram Raksha Dal (Village Defence Party). A special team was formed to arrest the Maoist, identified as Prakash Kerketta alias Arvind. Senior Superintendent of Police Prabhat Kumar said the Maoist tried to flee but police cornered and captured him. A country made carbine, gun, bullets and motorcycle were also recovered from him. The Maoists, also known as Naxals in India, are inspired by the political philosophy of China's late Chairman Mao Zedong. Nithari killer Surinder Koli's death sentence commuted to life term by Allahabad HC

Allahabad, Jan 28 (ANI): The Allahabad High Court on Wednesday converted the death sentence of Surendra Koli to life imprisonment in the Nithari killings case. The decision taken was based on a PIL filed in the case, citing a delay in the hearing of his mercy petition. Koli's mercy plea had been pending for three years. He was convicted of the murder, rape and cannibalism of five children, while another 14 cases against him are still pending.
