N Kiran Kumar Reddy launches new party Jai Samaikyandhra

New Delhi, March 11 (ANI): Former chief minister of Andhra Pradesh N Kiran Kumar Reddy announced the name of his party as Jai Samaikyandhra and said that the struggle for reunification of Andhra Pradesh would start from Telangana region as it stood to lose heavily with the state’s division. Reddy is the president of the new party while former MP Chundru Srihari Rao is the founder president. Controversial MP Lagadapati Rajagopal is not part of the party executive though Reddy said that he would act as an advisor and strategist for the party. Hyderabad, March 07 (ANI): Former Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh N Kiran Kumar Reddy announced that he will launch a new political party in protest of bifurcation of the state. The name of the party, symbol and agenda will be revealed at a public meeting to be held in Rajahmundry city on March 12. AP Governor ESL Narasimhan to hold charge during Presidents rule in state

Hyderabad, March 03 (ANI): Andhra Pradesh Governor ESL Narasimhan said that the state which has now come under the President’s rule may be supervised by him as per the direction of President Pranab Mukherjee. He said the President has taken charge of the state with the intention of creating a congenial and conducive atmosphere for stable administration. The central government had recommended the imposition of President’s rule in Andhra Pradesh on Friday. On Saturday, Pranab Mukherjee gave his assent to the Andhra Pradesh Reorganisation Bill, 2014 and also approved cabinet’s recommendation.
