Customers head towards jewellery shops in Jaipur as gold nears four-month low

Jaipur, June 05 (ANI): Prices of gold in India touched rupees 26, 639 per 10 grams on Thursday, the lowest since February, attracting a sizeable number of people who wanted to invest in the precious metal. People in Jaipur rushed to buy gold which is expected to fall even further to rupees 25, 000 rupees in the next few days. Traders and jewellers have seen a rise in the number of customers in the last few days as people flocked to take advantage of low prices. Though this trend of the slash in gold prices is global, the recent reduction in import duty by the Indian government has also aided the fall in prices of the commodity. Jun 5, 2014

Akshay and Sonakshi promotes movie 'Holiday'

Mumbai, June 4 (ANI): Leading Bollywood actors, Akshay Kumar and Sonakshi Sinha, promoted their latest action thriller, 'Holiday: A Soldier is Never off Duty,' on Tuesday in Mumbai. The movie which is directed by south Indian director and producer, AR Murugadoss, revolves around an Indian army intelligence officer on a mission to track down and destroy a terrorist group. Chairman of the All-India Anti-Terrorist Front (AIATF), MS Bitta has proposed that tickets to the movie be made tax-free. The music and promotional advertisements for the film have been released and have reportedly received good response. The film will hit the theatres on 6th June 2014. Jun 4, 2014
