BERGER PAINTS INDIA LTD and SUZLON were among the top gainers of Group A with an increase of 5.52% and 4.94% along with BATA INDIA and SHRIRAM CITY UNION FINANCE LTD with an increase of 4.92% and 4.25% respectively, while the top losers of Group A include INFRATEL and SOBHA with a decrease of 5.43% and 3.46% along with MARUTI and MRF with a decrease of 3.34% and 3.27% at the close of the markets.
