Chennai/Bangalore, May 03 (ANI): Police released the video footage of a suspect in the twin bomb blast on the Bangalore-Guwahati train in Chennai that killed a woman and left many injured. Explosive devices concealed under seats went off in two coaches shortly after the train stopped at Chennai central station at about 7:00 AM. Inspector General of Crime Investigation Department of India, Mahesh Kumar Agarwal, addressed a news conference and said there were similarities between the twin blasts in Chennai and the serial blasts in Patna city which targeted Modi's rally. Coimbatore, May 02 (ANI): Police beefed up security at railway stations across India after two bomb blasts in Bangalore- Guwahti train in Chennai which killed one woman and left nine others injured. Paramilitary forces and dog squads were deployed at several stations, with the police scanning through belongings of almost all the passengers in Coimbatore city in Tamil Nadu. Police in the northern part of the country also issued an alert and railway stations were scrutinised. A team from the National Investigation Agency has joined the investigation in Chennai. Chennai, May 01 (ANI): Victims of the twin blasts that rocked the Chennai Central Railway Station on Thursday have been taken to hospital for treatment, as officials say 14 injured are stable. Two explosions ripped through the Bangalore-Guwahati Express around 7:30 a.m, killing a 22 year-old female passenger. The injured were admitted to the government-run Rajiv Gandhi general hospital near the station. Chennai District Collector, V Sundaravalli, said that all possible medical care was being given to 15 people who were brought to the hospital.
