Police arrest Maoist in Jharkhand, recover arms and ammunition

Gumla, May 21 (ANI): Police has arrested a Maoist in India’s red corridor of Gulma district of Jharkhand and recovered arms, ammunition and a number of mobile phones. Accused in several criminal activities, the red rebel was the commander of a faction in the area and a wanted criminal in police records. The police launched combing operation in the area and were successful in nabbing the Maoist on Tuesday.
