Carpet exporters expect boost in sales after PM Modi's US visit

Varanasi, Oct 11 (ANI): Exporters in carpet industry in Uttar Pradesh expect a boost in sales after the recent five-day US visit of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Traders say that the Bhadohi region of the state is one of the largest manufacturers of carpets and is considered to be an earning town. Also, 60 per cent of the carpets are exported to the US from India. In a bid to boost the industry, exporters said Modi's US visit would benefit them.
