New Delhi, June 14 (ANI): Uttarakhand Chief Minister Harish Rawat was admitted to AIIMS hospital in Delhi after his chopper hit turbulence on Friday. He suffered a neck fracture and minor back injury because of the rough emergency landing. The Congress leader somehow escaped the deadly accident and is now stable but he would not be discharged right now. Union Health Minister Dr Harsh Vardhan said in a statement that the plane must have collided with clouds due to turbulence and Rawat's belt was not tied so his head hit the roof. Woman allegedly gang-raped in Police Station in UP

Hamirpur, June 12 (ANI): A woman has allegedly been gangraped in Uttar Pradesh's Hamirpur by the Sub-inspector inside the station premises. The woman said that the she had gone to the police station to get her husband released but the Sub-inspector asked her for a bribe of Rs 20,000. The woman did not pay the bribe and was allegedly told that a false case would be lodged against her. She was later taken to a room by Sub-inspector where she was raped by the senior officer and three other policemen. The police have lodged an FIR and the Sub-inspector has been arrested. Jun 12, 2014
