The plant, launched in November 2013, has a power output of 70 megawatts and is constructed in an area of 1.27 million square meters. Nanatsujima is close to the active volcano Sakurajima, but the solar panels here are installed in a safe area. The plant coexists with natural conditions utilizing advanced technology. Furthermore, with consideration of safety, approximately 1,400 lightning conductors are installed. The site is close to the sea and thus faces the risk of tsunamis. Feb 26, 2015

New Delhi, Feb 19 (ANI): Minister of State for Petroleum and Natural Gas Ministry, Dharmendra Pradhan on Thursday said that investigation is on over the leakage of classified information from Petroleum Ministry. He said that the government will take strong action once the investigation is over. Two Petroleum Ministry employees are among five persons arrested for allegedly leaking confidential government documents to private companies, Delhi Police said. According to sources, said a clerical staff and a peon of the Petroleum Ministry were apprehended by the police. Pradhan, however, said that the new government has started keeping an eye over all the activities in the ministry and said that cameras are installed among other things to keep a check. Feb 19, 2015
