Ranaut, who plays protagonist in 'Queen', portrays how a woman tries to emerge from the turmoil, after her wedding gets called off and she decides to go on a honeymoon, alone. Talking about her character and how different it was when compared to her previous movie, 'Fashion', Ranaut said she portrayed a bold and overconfident woman in 'Fashion' but in 'Queen' she essayed the role of a conservative, small town girl with no self-confidence.
