Modi addressed the youth present at the event and said that there is a current of hope in the crowd where there is a hope for future of humanity. He said that a little sacrifice today can add to a better tomorrow. The Indian PM said that it is an admirable act that through this festival, people are touching lives of those who are as fortunate as others. Further, he also said that world changes with power and attitude of youth and not by wisdom of old. PM Modi also talked about cooperation between the youth of the two countries which could bring a new ray of hope for the world's future. New York, Sep 27 (ANI): Crowds greet Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, by chanting his name and blowing the conch shell in triumph on the streets of New York as he arrived at the hotel. PM Modi arrived in New York on Friday on his maiden visit to the United States, aiming to woo corporate titans and crown a burst of investment-focused diplomacy. Crowds were shouting pro-Modi slogans as he took walk to the hotel surrounded by water-tight security. Several posters and placards bearing Modi's name and photo also greeted the Indian prime minister. While addressing the public at the event, Modi said that for development of the farmers, there needs to be value addition. Explaining the importance of food processing, Modi said that if the companies of the aerated drinks agree to put even five percent of the natural juice in their product, then the farmers will be able to make a lot of money.
