New Delhi, Jan 14 (ANI): A new study by Indian origin researcher has revealed that meditating for 30 minutes daily may help improve symptoms of anxiety and depression. Lead author of the study Madhav Goyal from the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine said in their research meditation appeared to provide as much relief from some anxiety and depression symptoms as what other studies have found from antidepressants. Politicians condemn SP s splurge on Saifai Mahotsav even as riot victims suffer

Lucknow/ New Delhi, Jan 09 (ANI): Different leaders from various political parties condemned the Saifai Mahotsav organized by the ruling Samajwadi Party (SP) in Uttar Pradesh while the Muzaffarnagar riot victims continue to suffer in the relief camps. SP has drawn flak for spending millions of rupees on its fortnight-long annual carnival, while the riot victims in the state shiver in relief camps. Congress leader, Digvijay Singh called SP insensitive and blamed the government for not being able to prevent the riots in the first place.
