Patrolling along LoC increased to stop infiltration attempts: BSF

Srinagar, Sep 21 (ANI): BSF Inspector General PS Sandhu on Sunday assured that any attempts of infiltration from across the border along LoC will be curbed by the BSF officials who have been deployed along the Line of Control. He added that due to approaching winter season the attempts by militants to cross the border and enter into the Indian Territory are quite high and added that patrolling along the LoC has been increased. New Delhi, Sep 20 (ANI): Sports Minister Sarbananda Sonowal on Saturday said that the Indian contingent will perform well in 17th Asian Games at Incheon, basking in the glory of two medals won on Day-1. A total of 439 gold medals in 36 sports are up for grabs over 15 days of competition. Meanwhile, former shooter and Olympic silver medallist, Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore congratulated Jitu Rai on his gold medal. Jammu, Sep 16 (ANI): Kashmir has set up a special relief camp in the winter capital of Jammu for rescuees from flood ravaged valley, besides providing them with food and medical facilities, even as arrangements are being made to send the tourists back to their respective hometowns. The victims were rescued and flown to Jammu from where free bus and train services are being provided to take them back to their respective states. Most of the labourers were without basic needs for nearly 10 days and after being stationed at the relief camp in Jammu city, they were provided with free food and medical checkups.
